Angela Evans, Ed.D.

Angela Evans, Ed.D. has held a variety of roles in the education sector since 1994. Angela began their career at Floyd College as a Recruitment Coordinator before moving to Kennesaw State University in 1996. At Kennesaw State University, they held the roles of Adjunct Assistant Professor of Education in the Department of First-Year and Transition Studies, University College, Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, and Director of Student Marketing and Campus Engagement. In 2007, they served as President of the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Board of Directors member for the Georgia Accrediting Commission. From 2014 to 2017, they were Vice President for Membership and Outreach for the Georgia Association for Women in Higher Education. During this time, they also held the role of Owner/Operator at Pine Log Creek Farms. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Consultant for Pine Log Strategy Group and Chief Operating Officer for BTE. Currently, they are an Information Risk Strategist for BorderHawk, LLC.

Angela Evans, Ed.D. has an extensive education history. Angela earned their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from The University of Alabama in 2005, their MPA from Kennesaw State University in 1998, and their BSA from The University of Georgia in 1994. In 2013, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Fort Valley State University in English: Technical and Professional Writing. Angela also holds certificates from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College in Child Development (2007) and North Georgia Technical College in Leadership Development (2002). Additionally, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The University of Georgia in 1995. Evans also has several certifications, including Certified Beekeeper from The University of Georgia (2017), Registered Enrollment Professional - Georgia Institute of Strategic Enrollment Management from GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGIATE REGISTRARS AND ADMISSIONS OFFICER (2007), and Certified Meat Goat Producer from Langston University School of Agriculture & Applied Sciences (2006).
