Ian McRae

Ian McRae is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships and global expansion within the education sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at BorderPass, Ian previously held significant roles at ApplyBoard, including Head of Global Expansion, where leadership directed the expansion strategy across Germany, Ireland, and Australia. Notable achievements at ApplyBoard include managing international student recruitment for Canadian institutions and establishing effective operational processes as the Escalation Manager. Ian's early career involved advocacy for post-secondary students as Government Relations and Policy Manager at the Canadian Federation of Students, as well as academic engagement through teaching at Attagoyuk High School.
