Brendan Kelly

Brendan Kelly is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for both EAI: Electricity Association of Ireland and HydrogenIreland, Brendan also holds the position of Commercial Manager at Bord na Móna. Previous roles include General Manager for Canada and Manager of Customer Solutions for Europe, Africa, and APAC at Smart Wires Inc., where Brendan focused on developing technology solutions for utility customers. Brendan was an Executive Committee member for CIGRE's Irish National Committee and has held significant engineering roles at EirGrid, managing major renewable project studies and creating a Power Quality Team. Brendan's entrepreneurial experience includes founding BOOSTR, a rewards-based crowdfunding platform for sports clubs. Educationally, Brendan earned a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Structural Engineering with Architecture from University College Dublin.
