Mahyar Hosseini

Mahyar Hosseini is a skilled machine learning software engineer and data engineer with extensive experience in developing algorithms and products to address critical financial and business challenges. Currently at Borealis AI since February 2018, Mahyar has successfully built and evaluated machine learning models, facilitated the handling of large unstructured datasets, and created data collection tools to generate labelled datasets. Prior to Borealis AI, Mahyar contributed as a data scientist at Ingenuity Lab, where machine learning algorithms for muscular dystrophy treatments and bioinformatics tools were developed. Earlier roles include work as a research engineer at Sharif University of Technology, focusing on cloud simulation and health information systems. Mahyar holds a Master of Science in Communications from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Shiraz University.
