Mohamed Osama Ahmed

Mohamed Osama Ahmed is a highly experienced professional in the field of machine learning, currently serving as the Machine Learning Research Team Lead and Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Borealis AI since January 2019, focusing on developing machine learning models for credit and leading autoML efforts. Previously, Mohamed held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where Mohamed contributed to various courses and research projects in advanced machine learning and data science. Mohamed's earlier experience includes a Data Scientist position at Ecoation Innovative Solutions Inc and research roles at Cairo University and UBC, with a strong academic background culminating in a PhD in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, complemented by a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics.
