Tupa Hoveka, MPA, currently serves as the Senior Communications Associate for Editorial Strategy at Borealis Philanthropy. Previously, Tupa was an Assistant Program Officer in Community Development at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), where responsibilities included leading communications efforts and co-organizing the LISC DC's 40th Anniversary celebration. Tupa also worked as a Program Associate for Field Engagement at Prosperity Now, monitoring legislation and facilitating community engagement initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as a Communications Associate at oogie solutions llc and an internship focused on impact evaluation at the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services. Tupa holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Towson University.
