Alberto Salviejo has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Alberto is currently serving as the Global Head at Borealis, where they are responsible for leading the transition towards an integrated digital and customer-centric model. Prior to this, Alberto worked as a Professor at Esade and ISDI, teaching various digital business and transformation subjects. Alberto has also worked as a Digital Business & Transformation Advisor & Consultant, helping boards and digital transformation teams develop and implement business strategies. Earlier in their career, Alberto held various leadership positions at CEMEX, including Digital, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Service Delivery Director. Additionally, they have experience as an entrepreneur, having founded FlexiDesign and Bluups.com. Alberto also worked for Groupe Renault in the Finance department.

Alberto Salviejo has a diverse education history. Alberto obtained a Master's degree in Internet Business from ISDI in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they completed an International Executive MBA from IE Business School in 2011-2012. In terms of undergraduate education, Alberto pursued Economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2003 to 2007. Alberto started their academic journey with a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad de Valladolid, which they achieved between 1997 and 2002. During their Civil Engineering studies, they gained knowledge in a wide range of subjects including Structures, Machines and engines, Biology, Agriculture, and Animal Breeding.
