Alma Pira-Edman has extensive experience in project management and engineering within the chemical industry. Currently serving as a project manager in Innovation & Technology at Borealis since December 2014, Alma has also managed sustainability initiatives, led a chemical recycling program office, and worked as a laboratory manager and production engineer. Responsibilities included enhancing operational excellence related to reliability, HSE, quality, and cost. Prior to that, Alma was a shift operator at AkzoNobel from January 2009 to September 2013. Alma holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, earned between 2007 and 2013.
