Andreas Zöller

Director Global Product & Asset Management Polyolefins at Borealis

Andreas Zöller has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Andreas is currently the Head of Global Asset and Product Management for PP compounds & Borcycle™ at Borealis, where they are responsible for the division's P&L and leading the industry's transformation to become a circular solution supplier through advanced mechanical recycling.

Prior to their current role, Andreas worked at DuPont as the Global Business Leader for Delrin®, overseeing the strategic direction of the acetal polymer division and implementing a global integrated business strategy to drive market growth and sustainability. Andreas also served as the Business Manager for Delrin® Hytrel® Vamac®, where they had P&L accountability for three market-leading products and was responsible for developing and executing the business strategy.

Before joining DuPont, Andreas held various positions within the company, including Strategic Marketing and Business Development Leader for EMEA, where they led the marketing and application development teams and delivered record commercialization. Andreas also served as the EMEA Business Manager for Delrin® - Performance Polymers, where they developed and implemented the product strategy, and as the Demand Manager and Business Improvement Leader for EMEA - Performance Polymers, where they led Six Sigma projects and achieved significant bottom-line improvements.

In addition to their work in the chemical industry, Andreas has a passion for music and has served as a Conductor and Founder of the Symphonic Wind Orchestra "Endlisch Musigg Orchestra (EMO)" since 2006. Andreas is known for their unique performances and has created entertainment concerts such as "KonzertParty" and "KonzertShow" as well as the music theatre "MärchenMusigg" and its digital streaming version "MärchenMusigg@home."

Andreas Zöller has a diverse education history. Andreas holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they completed executive programs at various renowned institutions. From 2016 to 2018, they attended IMD, where they studied Business Strategy, Innovation, and Leadership. In 2017, they participated in the Leading Strategic Growth program at Columbia Business School. In 2019, they completed an executive program on Leading and Managing Globally at Yale School of Management. Most recently, from 2020 to 2023, they pursued Executive Programs at INSEAD, focusing on Leadership, Corporate Strategy, and M&A. Alongside their formal education, Andreas Zöller has obtained numerous certifications related to sales, team management, competitive advantage, business model evaluation, leadership, sustainability, accounting, finance, and supply chain management.
