Daniel Furió de Souza

Daniel Furió de Souza has a diverse work experience in various industries. Daniel Furió currently holds the position of Managing Director at Borealis since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Commercial - Specialty Solutions South America at the same company from October 2021. Daniel Furió also served as the General Sales Manager at Borealis from April 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Borealis, Daniel worked as the Commercial Sales Manager at AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH from June 2015 to April 2019. Daniel Furió started their career at Solvay in January 2010, where they held the roles of New Business Development Manager from July 2013 to March 2015 and Commercial Account Manager & Technical Service from January 2010 to July 2013.

Daniel also has experience working at Industrias Arteb S/A, where they served as a Commercial Account Manager from April 2009 to June 2009, Product Development Specialist from January 2008 to April 2009, Commercial Account Manager from February 2006 to January 2008, and Product Development Engineer from October 2002 to February 2006.

Daniel Furió de Souza pursued their education in a variety of fields over the years. Daniel Furió began their academic journey at Escola Tecnica Federal de SP, where they obtained a Technical degree in Mechanical Technology from 1996 to 1999. Daniel Furió then went on to enroll at FEI and completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from 2000 to 2007. In 2005, Daniel also took part in an Intensive Course of Business Administration at BSP - Business School São Paulo. Building upon their previous education, they pursued further studies at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Management. Lastly, from 2020 to 2022, they attended FIA Business School for a postgraduate program focused on Finance & Business Efficiency.
