Koen Colpaert

Koen Colpaert has extensive experience in project management and engineering within Borealis since 1997, currently serving as the Investment Project Management Office manager, overseeing significant CAPEX projects globally. Previously, Colpaert held positions as the European Engineering manager and Group sourcing manager investments, where responsibilities included transforming the technical procurement strategy and reporting to executive leadership. Earlier roles involved leadership in HDPE production and engineering for high-pressure technology in LDPE production, contributing to advanced operational techniques. Koen Colpaert's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven, complemented by management training at IMD.
