Kurt Vinck

Kurt Vinck possesses extensive experience in energy management, climate strategy, and project management across various industries. Currently serving as HSE Sr Group expert for Climate and Energy at Borealis since August 2012, Kurt specializes in climate management, energy transition roadmap development, and ISO energy standards as a lead auditor. Previous roles include Project Manager at Group Machiels, where Kurt engineered advanced waste processing technologies, and Production Manager at Tessenderlo Group, overseeing sulfuric acid production and operational improvements. Kurt’s career includes significant contributions to military infrastructure at the Ministry of Defence and innovative process design at Europlanning and Festo. Kurt holds a Post Graduate degree in Energy Efficiency from Ghent University and a degree in Electricity/Electronics Process and Control Technology from Hogeschool Antwerpen.
