Marcos Santana

Marcos Santana is a Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in process engineering and project management. Currently serving at Borealis since February 2024, Marcos focuses on technical development in polyolefins. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Solvay from April 2022 to February 2024, where responsibilities involved conceptual process improvement projects, and at BASF from September 2015 to April 2022, leading CAPEX and OPEx projects while applying Agile methodologies. Earlier experience includes working as a Chemical Process Simulation Consultant at Aspen Technology, specializing in process simulation and optimization.
