Michael Taylor

Michael Taylor is a Patent Attorney at Borealis since July 2023, previously holding the position of Part-qualified Patent Attorney at Borealis Polyolefine GmbH from May to July 2023 and at Abel & Imray from June 2018 to May 2023. With experience spanning various engineering sectors such as Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Aviation, Transport and Logistics, and Oil and Gas, Michael has developed a solid foundation in patent law. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Graduate Project Engineer at Ocado Engineering, contributing to the development of Automated Guided Vehicles and focusing on battery technology and mechanical systems. Michael began the career as a Bicycle Mechanic at Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative and holds a PGCert in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen.
