Nina Baernthaler

Nina Baernthaler has extensive experience in the field of People & Culture (P&C) Strategy and Transformation. Nina started their career at OMV as a Talent Manager in 2003 and then moved to Borealis in 2008, where they held various positions including Global Talent Manager and People Development Expert, Head of People Development, and Head of P&C Strategy and Transformation. Nina'sresponsibilities have included advising, driving, and supporting transformational leadership, leadership performance and development, talent processes, succession risk management, and the design and implementation of effective P&C strategies. Nina has also been involved in designing global P&C processes and transforming learning and development into digital and self-driven formats. Nina has served as a strategic advisor to the VP P&C and Executive Board. Nina'stenure at Borealis lasted until 2024, and they also worked in a HR Business Partner role with the CEO.

Nina Baernthaler has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing and Marketing Research from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) which they completed from 1984 to 1989. Nina also pursued several short-term courses in Leadership and Management at IMD in 2008, International Project Management at PMCC in 2007-2008, and Organisational and Team Development at Hernstein Business School from 2003 to 2004.
