Sahin Sarrafi

Sahin Sarrafi is a seasoned chemical engineer with extensive experience in process development and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer II at Borealis, Sahin specializes in creating advanced process models and leading innovation projects. Prior experience includes roles as Process Development Supervisor and Chief Engineer at SOCAR Türkiye Ar-Ge, focusing on catalysis, process optimization, and digitalization. Sahin's tenure at Petkim encompassed various positions, including Senior Process Development Engineer and Technical Procurement Specialist, where responsibilities ranged from catalyst testing to procurement processes. Academically, Sahin holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Izmir Institute of Technology, complemented by early internships in production and quality control.
