Stephan Scholz

Stephan Scholz has a diverse work experience in the legal and commercial sectors. Stephan began their career as an Associate at CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati in 2002. Stephan then worked as a Senior Associate at bpv Hügel Rechtstanwälte OEG, where they advised on corporate finance and M&A transactions. In 2006, they joined Borealis as a Corporate Legal Counsel and later became the Commercial Excellence Manager, where they focused on developing and implementing sales and marketing processes. Stephan Scholz is currently the Head of Asia Growth Office and Commercial Excellence AI at Borealis.

Stephan Scholz has a comprehensive education history. Stephan obtained their Magister Iuris degree in Law from the University of Vienna from 1993 to 1998. Following that, they completed a post-graduate course in International Trade Law at the University of Torino in collaboration with the International Training Centre of the ILO in 1999. In 2000 to 2001, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from King's College London. Stephan then attended Johannes Kepler Universität Linz from 2002 to 2003, where they achieved a Doctor Iuris degree in Public Procurement law. Additionally, in 2008, they completed a Finance Manager Course at the Austrian Controller Institute (OCI). Continuing their education, they enrolled in the Executive MBA WU Wien program from 2012 to 2013, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Lastly, in 2014, they participated in the Strategic Marketing in Action - Winning in tough Markets program at IMD.
