Global Sales Director - Energy at Borealis

Yves Zuber has a diverse work experience spanning several leadership roles in various companies. Yves began their career at ERAI as the Director of the German Office from March 1992 to March 1997. Yves then joined Plastohm as a Sales Manager from May 1997 to December 1998. Yves Zuber continued their journey at Plastohm Geko GmbH & Co KG, where they served as the Managing Director and Key Account Manager from January 1999 to September 2007. During their time at Plastohm Geko, they managed an injection molding plant in Germany and successfully turned around the company's performance in 1999/2000. Yves Zuber then transitioned to Borealis, where they held several significant roles. Yves served as the Key Customer Leader for the BU Wire & Cable from October 2007 to September 2009. Yves then became the General Sales Manager for the BU Film & Fibre from September 2009 to December 2012, responsible for managing a comprehensive sales team covering European and non-European markets. Yves Zuber subsequently held the position of General Sales Manager for the Advanced Packaging & Fibre division, overseeing sales activities in Central Europe and leading specific projects for sales efficiency improvement. Yves then moved on to become the Head of Sales for the Energy division, a role in which they were responsible for sales of Borealis compounds into power cable, data/communication cable, and energy storage applications. Finally, they were appointed as the Global Sales Director for Energy, where they were a member of the Borealis Senior Leadership Team and responsible for the global sales strategy and execution in the energy sector.

Yves Zuber completed the Senior Executive Leadership Course at IMD in 2012, focusing on Excellence in Leadership. In 2010, they pursued Sales Leadership at T3M Training and received a degree in Focus on Performance. Additionally, in 2008, Yves Zuber attended Kenneth Smit Training for the Excellent Negotiating program. They earned an MBA in International Business/Strategy from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in 1991, following their studies at NEOMA Business School, where they obtained a degree in International Sales/Management (Sup de Co) in 1991. In 2017, Yves Zuber enrolled in a program at IMD called Building Business Sustainability.
