Matti Teräväinen

Matti Teräväinen is an Associate at Borenius since February 2022, working on a Master's Thesis focused on negative valued property in a bankruptcy estate. Prior to this role, Matti was an Associate Trainee in the dispute resolution practice. Participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot from October 2021 to April 2022 culminated in advancing to the round of 16 in Vis East and round of 32 in Vis Vienna, showcasing competencies in international commercial sales law and arbitration. Earlier experience includes a Legal Trainee position at Krogerus from September 2018 to September 2021, focusing on restructuring and insolvency, along with an Office Support Trainee role. Matti is pursuing a Master’s degree in Law at the University of Helsinki, anticipated to be completed in 2023, following a High School Diploma from Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu.
