Simo Viljamaa

Simo Viljamaa currently serves as a Senior Associate at Borenius since February 2023. Prior to this role, Simo co-founded Padel X, a Finnish padel experience provider, from January 2021 to December 2022. Simo has extensive experience in bankruptcy law, having served as a Senior Bankruptcy Lawyer at The Office of Bankruptcy Ombudsman from May 2015 to January 2022, and as Secretary for The Advisory Board for Bankruptcy Affairs between January 2019 and December 2021. Earlier career roles include Bailiff at the Enforcement Office from February 2011 to May 2015 and Trainee District Judge at the District Court of Hyvinkää from September 2012 to August 2013. Simo holds a degree from the University of Turku, completed in 2011.
