Rick Black

Rick Black is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in pumping systems and fluid control solutions. Currently serving as the HPS Engineering Manager at BORETS US Inc since September 2021, Rick leads the HPS Product Engineering Team, focusing on the development of advanced pumping systems and customized solutions. Prior to this role, Rick worked at Flowserve Corporation as a Principal Engineer, designing large Seal Support Systems for critical applications. With significant experience at Schlumberger, Rick held multiple positions including Sr. Product Engineer and Engineering Systems Manager, overseeing the design and delivery of Electric Submersible Pumps and implementing engineering systems. Previous roles also include Project Engineer at Stewart & Stevenson and Design Engineer at Camco Oilfield Services. Rick began professional development as a U.S. Army Engineering Officer after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
