Morten Thy Asmussen

Morten Thy Asmussen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Morten Thy currently holds the position of Sales Development Director at BORG Automotive Reman since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Siemens Gamesa, where they served as the Head of Marketing & Sales Excellence from April 2019 to August 2023 and Head of Sales Excellence from August 2017 to August 2023. Before joining Siemens Gamesa, Morten worked at Siemens Wind Power as the Head of Global Marketing from March 2013 to August 2017 and as a Product Manager from November 2008 to February 2013. Morten Thy started their career at E.ON Danmark as an Area Sales Manager from 2005 until November 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Key Account Manager at Helia Energisalg A/S from October 2002 to December 2005 and as a Nordic Sales Executive at Special Publications from April 2001 to October 2002. Morten also has experience as a Sales Executive at Frost & Sullivan from April 2000 to April 2001.

Morten Thy Asmussen completed their education in various fields of study. In 1991, they graduated from Fredericia Middelfart Handelsskole with an HHx degree in general business studies. In 1997, they obtained an Akademiøkonom degree in marketing management from International Business Academy. Then, in 1999, they earned a BA Hons degree in marketing management from the University of Greenwich. In 2007, they attended the E.ON Nordic Management Program at the London Business School. In 2013, they completed the People and Business Management (PBM2) program at Siemens Learning Campus. In 2014, they further enhanced their organizational leadership skills through a program offered by Siemens Wind Power. Most recently, in 2018, Morten Thy Asmussen completed the Organizational Leadership program at SGRE through Implement Consulting Group, focusing on becoming a manager of teams.
