Anas Mahmoud

Anas Mahmoud is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in power electronics and renewable energy. Currently serving as Hardware Development Lead at BorgWarner since December 2022, Anas previously held positions as Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Continental Engineering Services and Senior Principal System Engineer at Valeo. Anas has a strong background in research and teaching, having worked as a mentor at Coursera, research assistant at The American University in Cairo, and lab supervisor at Zewail City of Science and Technology. With extensive experience in teaching various engineering courses, Anas also served as an instructor for avionics at the Egyptian Aviation Academy and contributed to significant projects focusing on grid tie inverter systems and automotive DC-DC converters. Anas earned a Master's degree in Power Electronics from Cairo University and has participated in professional development through Coursera.
