Jorge Sousa

Jorge Sousa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and operations. Currently serving as a Global Commodity Manager at BorgWarner Inc. since May 2013, Jorge has also held roles such as Supply Chain Supervisor, Purchasing Supervisor, and Buyer within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions at Nanium S.A. as a Buyer, involvement with Movimento Esperança Portugal as a Board Member, and engineering roles at Qimonda Portugal, S.A. and Marks & Spencer, where responsibilities encompassed operations supervision and maintaining security and systems. Jorge holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, a Licenciatura in Industrial Engineering and Management from Universídade Lusíada de Vila Nova de Famalicão, a Master's in Operations Management from Universidade Lusíada de Famalicão, and a Process Auditor certification from VDA QMC.
