Manuel Santana

Manuel Santana is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in product development and advanced engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at BorgWarner Inc. since September 2018, Manuel previously worked as a Product Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company from August 2014 to September 2018. Manuel's career began as a Tissue Recovery Technician at the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation, where responsibilities included aseptic tissue recovery and process improvements. Manuel gained foundational skills as a Research Assistant at Syracuse University, developing finite element models and assisting in teaching. Additionally, an internship involved enhancing actuator jet designs for an aerospace research laboratory. Manuel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University, an Associate's degree in Engineering Science from Onondaga Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
