Abigail Meakins

Abigail Meakins has a diverse work experience starting in 2018 as a Young African Thinkrs' Course Facilitator for the African Union. In 2019, they worked as an Office Associate for Together for Mental Wellbeing before moving on to RALA MEDIA as a Junior Creative, where they led the rebrand of Samra Leather. Abigail then had a brief work experience at Livity, a youth-led creative network. In the same year, they worked as a Project Lead for Bake and Brew, a coffee shop in Los Angeles that focused on Ethiopian coffee. In 2020, they worked as a Junior Strategic Planner for Deft. Abigail then joined Redgert Comms in 2021 as a Junior Communication Executive before moving up to the role of Account Executive. In the same year, they also co-founded Fax No Printer. Currently, in 2023, they are working as an Account Manager for Born Social.

Abigail Meakins completed their A-levels at Langley Park School for Girls from 2007 to 2013. Abigail then pursued a Bachelor of Arts - BA (Hons) degree in International Development (International) at the University of Leeds from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they had the opportunity to study abroad in South Africa at Rhodes University from 2016 to 2017, focusing on Political Science and Art History.
