Kelsey Black

Kelsey Black has a range of work experience in the field of motion design and animation. Kelsey currently holds the position of Senior Motion Designer at Born Social, a role they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Motion Graphics Designer at Vegan Region from 2020 to 2021 and again from 2022 to 2023. In 2019, Kelsey worked as a Motion Graphics Designer for the independent film "Open Your Eyes." From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Visual Effects Artist at Bix Pix Entertainment. Additionally, they gained experience as a Web Developer at Luta Gear in 2017 and as an Animation Technical Assistant at New York University from 2014 to 2017.

Kelsey Black has a diverse education history. Kelsey attended Crawford College Lonehill from 2008 to 2012, where they completed their high school education. Following that, Kelsey pursued their passion for film and television animation and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television Animation from New York University between 2013 and 2017.

In 2019, Kelsey obtained a certification in "Fundamentals of Neuroscience, Part 1: The Electrical Properties of the Neuron" from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX.

Looking towards the future, Kelsey is set to continue their educational journey at The Open University from 2022 to 2026. Kelsey will be working towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with Honours in Mathematics and Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Kelsey has shown an interest in music theory and has been studying the Theory of Music at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, although specific start and end years are not provided.
