Mirella Spina's work experience begins in 2010 with a week of work experience at Comet, where they gained insight into the role of an in-house advertising agency. This experience sparked their interest in marketing and advertising. From 2011 to 2015, Mirella worked part-time as a Sales Assistant at Yours Clothing, where they provided excellent customer service and built rapport with customers.
In 2016, Mirella had their first creative placement at J. Walter Thompson London (JWT London), where they worked on brands such as KitKat and Kenco. Mirella learned about the logistics of an advertising agency.
In 2017, Mirella had creative placements at VCCP and isobel, working on brands such as O2, More Than, EasyJet, and Canon. Mirella developed skills in interrogating briefs and implementing creative strategies.
In 2018, Mirella worked as a Social Media Executive at Exposed, where they gained experience in social media management. Mirella then had creative placements at AnalogFolk and Saatchi & Saatchi. At AnalogFolk, Mirella worked on accounts such as Booking.com, Marmite, and Nike, creating engaging social media content. At Saatchi & Saatchi, they worked on 360 campaigns for household name clients, overseeing projects from idea to production and collaborating with teams.
Most recently, in 2020, Mirella joined Born Social as an Account Manager and later became a Senior Account Manager. The specifics of their roles at Born Social are not provided.
Mirella Spina pursued their undergraduate education from 2013 to 2016 at the University of Lincoln. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Creative Advertising.
