Zhaoya Su

Zhaoya Su has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. They most recently worked at Kora as a Finance Manager, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Accountant at Kora from July 2019 to December 2021. Before joining Kora, Zhaoya worked at YooLi P2P lending LLC as a Senior Budget Analyst from December 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, they worked at KPMG as a Staff Auditor from October 2015 to November 2017. Zhaoya also gained experience as a Finance Accounting Intern at the Chicago Transit Authority from July 2013 to May 2014. They started their career as a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2012 to May 2014. Zhaoya began their professional journey at EY as an Audit Intern, where they were involved in various audit tasks for China Securities Co., Ltd. (CSC) and prepared bank reconciliation reports.

Zhaoya Su completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, which took place from 2008 to 2012. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2014, Zhaoya pursued a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois Chicago. They also obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from AICPA in March 2015 and from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in September 2022.
