James Gant

James Gant, M.A., CPM, currently serves as the Borough Manager for the Borough of Red Bank, New Jersey, starting December 2023. Gant holds multiple roles, including Executive Committee Member and various committee positions within the Monmouth Joint Insurance Fund since January 2022, and Commissioner for the Cyber Joint Insurance Fund since January 2023. Additionally, Gant is the Vice Chairman for CDBG Monmouth County, starting February 2023. Previously, Gant was the Borough Administrator for the Borough of Sea Girt until December 2023 and worked in Manchester Township as the Assistant Business Administrator and Director of Personnel HR, where responsibilities included employee benefits management. Gant's early career included positions as Communications Supervisor and Police Dispatcher across different police departments. Education includes a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The College of New Jersey.
