Gene Kunkel

Gene Kunkel is an experienced Systems Administrator currently employed by the Borough of State College since March 2018. Prior to this role, Gene served as Systems Manager at Playworld Systems, Inc. from August 2005 to March 2018, and as Network Administrator at Magee Rieter Automotive Systems from September 1999 to August 2005. Gene began their career as a Systems Administrator at AlliedSignal, Inc. from May 1986 to September 1999. Gene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Computer and Information Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1983 and 1986.
