Ian Paterson

Ian Paterson is a seasoned professional in the drilling and marketing sectors, currently serving as Contracts & Administration Manager and Director of Marketing for the Western Hemisphere at Borr Drilling since October 2020. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Transocean, such as Senior Manager of Marketing Contracts & Proposals, where Ian managed the Europe Contracts & Proposals team, as well as various marketing and technical sales positions within the North Sea Division. Ian's career began with Sedco Forex Schlumberger, holding the role of Rig Manager for over a decade. Ian holds a BSc in Mining & Petroleum Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, completed in 1986.
