Matthew Brechin Acca

Matthew Brechin ACCA is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles across the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Finance Manager at Borr Drilling since April 2022, Matthew previously held the position of Group Finance Business Support Manager at Swire Energy Services. Notably, Matthew's tenure at Wood spanned over eight years, where responsibilities included leading the system accounting team, acting as finance focal point for major contracts, and overseeing project accounting functions. Prior to these roles, Matthew gained valuable experience as a management accountant at Micron Eagle Hydraulics Ltd, and held positions at Wood Group and PSN focused on corporate reporting and international accounting. Matthew is a graduate of Robert Gordon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance and is a member of ACCA from 2009 to 2019.
