Jim Giercyk

Jim Giercyk is a highly experienced Senior Database Administrator with a robust background in managing SQL servers across various platforms and deployments. Currently at BorrowWorks, Jim oversees multiple SQL Servers, develops real-time data replication solutions, and implements disaster recovery plans. Previously, at Oregon Mutual Insurance, Jim led a team focused on enhancing SQL Server performance and cloud migration strategies. Jim's extensive experience includes administering over 50 SQL Servers at The Gordian Group, where complex maintenance and migration tasks were automated using PowerShell. Additionally, Jim has contributed to multiple companies in roles ranging from SQL Developer DBA to Enterprise Integration Specialist, showcasing expertise in system integration, data automation, and process improvement. Jim holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
