Mette Hundebøl Nielsen has extensive experience in finance and management positions. Mette Hundebøl currently serves as CFO & CIO at Børsen since 2018. Previously, they worked at DONG Energy, starting in 2005. At DONG Energy, they held various roles including Director, Head of Finance Business Partners Distribution, Markets and Sales, Director, Head of Business Partner Markets, Senior Manager, Head of Market Risk, Manager, Head of Market Risk, Supervisor, Head of Business Reporting, and Risk Analyst in Risk Management, Energy Markets. In these roles, they were responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, business partnering, risk management, and implementing new systems. Mette Hundebøl has successfully led teams and achieved significant results, including playing a key role in turning around the sales business and ensuring IPO readiness.

Mette Hundebøl Nielsen attended Aarhus University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Finance. In 2005, they enrolled in the Summer School program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to study Forecasting Financial Markets.
