Zafer Aksakal

Zafer Aksakal has extensive experience in project management and operational leadership across various sectors, particularly in energy systems and engineering. Currently serving as General Manager of Borusan Makina ve Güç Sistemleri / Caterpillar in Georgia since March 2018, Zafer Aksakal oversees the EPC division, managing diverse energy projects including trigeneration, cogeneration, and renewable energy developments across multiple countries. Prior to this role, Aksakal held the position of Head of Operations at Optilan, where operational efficiency and financial performance were key focuses. Aksakal's background includes project management roles at SIEMENS and ERDEMİR, contributing to significant projects in energy management and steel production. Aksakal's educational foundation includes studies at the New York Institute of Technology and Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
