Zafer Atabey

Zafer Atabey serves as the Borusan Pipe Global CEO and has extensive experience in the steel pipe industry, having been with Borusan Mannesmann since July 2008 in various leadership roles including General Manager, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, and Executive Vice President of Sales & Purchasing. During a prior tenure at Borusan Mannesmann Pipe US Inc from March 2013 to January 2017, Zafer Atabey was a Board Member, contributing to the company's global strategic investments. Before that, Zafer Atabey held the position of Managing Director at Borusan Mannesmann Vobarno Tubi Spa in Italy from January 2002 to July 2008. Earlier career experiences within Borusan Mannesmann, from September 1991 to December 2001, included roles such as Sales Manager and Export Area Manager. Zafer Atabey holds a BA in Economics from Boğaziçi University, where studies were completed from 1986 to 1991.
