Funda Akalın

Funda Akalın has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Funda began their career as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Pfizer and later at Erdemir. Funda then interned as a Purchasing Intern at Eczacıbaşı Yapı Gereçleri. Funda continued their professional journey by joining Borusan Holding's "New Generation Talent Program" as a Management Trainee. At BMW Türkiye, they held the position of BMW & MINI Dealer Development Specialist, where they played a crucial role in managing the dealer network and coordinating global projects. Funda then moved to Borusan Otomotiv, where they took on the roles of Strategic Planning and Business Development Senior Specialist, Strategic Planning Unit Manager, and later became the Head of Strategy and Business Development. Throughout their career, Funda demonstrated expertise in market intelligence, strategic planning, project management, and digital transformation.

Funda Akalın has an education history that includes a Master's degree in Engineering and Technology Management from Boğaziçi University, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Before entering university, Funda Akalın attended TED Zonguldak Koleji, where they completed their high school education in the field of Science from 2005 to 2009.
