Hakan Tiftik

Hakan Tiftik has an extensive work experience, starting in 2001 as the General Manager of Interkordsa GmbH. Hakan then held various roles at Kordsa, including Regional Commercial Director, Vice President of Commercial, President & CEO, and Vice Chairman of the Board. Hakan also worked as the Vice President of Sales at Kordsa Global AS and as the Vice Chairman of the Board at Nile Kordsa. Hakan served as the Vice Chairman of the Board at IndoKordsa PTE, Indonesia, and as a Member of the Board at the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD). Hakan Tiftik was the CEO and Vice Chairman of Mondi Group and later became the Vice Chairman of DEIK - Foreign Economic Relations Board. Hakan also held the role of Chairman for the Turkish-Brazil Business Council and Vice Chairman for the Turkish-Austrian Business Council. Currently, they are the CEO and Chairman of the Board at Borusan Otomotiv.

Hakan Tiftik pursued their education chronologically, starting with a high school diploma from Alman Lisesi, which they obtained from 1979 to 1987. After that, they attended Boğaziçi University from 1987 to 1992, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Continuing their educational journey, they enrolled at Koç University from 1996 to 1997 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration.
