Dr. Jörg Hoffmann

Dr. Jörg Hoffmann has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dr. Jörg worked as the Head of BOS Applications & IT Architecture at BOS GmbH & Co. KG since January 2022, prior to which they held the position of Head of Application Development from September 2019. Dr. Jörg also served as the Deputy Head of Information Management, Group Leader of IT Complexity Management, and Project Manager at FIR an der RWTH Aachen from 2014 to 2019. Dr. Hoffmann gained experience in the field of IT architecture and partner management as the IT Architecture Manager at e.GO Mobile AG from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they worked as an IT Consultant at MBtech Group GmbH & Co. KGaA from 2012 to 2014 and as a Werkstudent at TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Jörg started their professional career with an internship at the UK Atomic Energy Authority/Culham Centre for Fusion Energy in 2010.

Dr. Jörg Hoffmann has a strong educational background. Dr. Jörg obtained their Ph.D. degree in Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen University between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Hoffmann has also obtained certifications in the field of information management and IT best practices. In October 2014, they completed a Chief Information Manager certification at RWTH International Academy. In January 2014, they also earned an ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. These certifications reflect their dedication to continuous learning and professional development in their field.
