Yuanyuan Guan

Yuanyuan Guan is a seasoned engineer in product development and materials engineering, currently serving as a Product Development Engineer at Bosal since February 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the product development process and leading problem-solving initiatives. Prior to this role, Yuanyuan spent over four years at Sensata Technologies as a Lead Design Engineer, focusing on the design and development of high temperature thermocouple sensors for the automotive industry, translating customer requirements into product strategies, and coordinating international project teams. Earlier experience includes positions as a Design Engineer and Materials Engineer, contributing to the design of automotive sensor components and conducting material analysis for extreme conditions. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering and a Master’s degree from KU Leuven, along with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Major achievements during the academic tenure include developing innovative methods for solder joint analysis and contributing to educational activities in the Master's program.
