Simone Tenschert

Simone Tenschert has a strong background in the automotive industry, with a focus on spark plugs. Simone started their career at Robert Bosch GmbH in 2007, where they worked as a Material Engineer and participated in the RB doctoral program. From 2010 to 2014, they served as a Section Manager for Manufacturing Planning Components and then transitioned to become the Head of Department for Engineering Spark Plugs in the Asia-Pacific region at Bosch Automotive Aftermarket (China) Co., Ltd. In 2017, they returned to Robert Bosch GmbH as the Director of Spark Plug R&D. Simone later took on the role of Vice President of Product Area Spark Plugs. In 2022, they joined Bosch Automotive Service Solutions, LLC as the Vice President of Operations.

Simone Tenschert earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Material Science & Technology from Universität des Saarlandes in the years 2000 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) degree in Material Science from the same university from 2007 to 2011.
