David Paz

David Paz is a Senior Research Scientist at Bosch, where the focus is on developing next-generation autonomous driving technology. With a strong background in perception and machine learning, David previously served as an AI Research Scientist, contributing to autonomy applications. At the University of California San Diego, David led the Autonomous Vehicle Laboratory Research Project, advancing models for road-user trajectory prediction and dynamic scene understanding, and collaborated on enhancing AV performance. Additional experience includes a brief role as a Perception Engineer at TuSimple and research positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the San Diego Supercomputer Center. David holds a PhD in Computer Science, an MS in Intelligent Systems, Robotics, and Control, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, all from UC San Diego.
