Dr. Philipp Schmalkoke

Dr. Philipp Schmalkoke is an experienced technical project director in software engineering, currently leading a global team at Bosch focused on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for customer projects since March 2013. In this role, Dr. Schmalkoke serves as the primary point of contact for software delivery timelines and specifications for a U.S. OEM, overseeing a diverse team across multiple countries. Previous positions include chief product owner for parking and visualization projects, and senior manager of engineering for parking software, where Dr. Schmalkoke managed a team of approximately 25 software engineers and led significant customer projects involving high-end vehicles. Academic credentials include a doctorate in mathematics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, supported by a Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft scholarship, as well as a diploma in mathematics from the same institution.
