Karlheinz Mayer

Karlheinz Mayer is an experienced engineering professional with a demonstrated track record in systems engineering and functional safety. Since February 2012, Karlheinz has held several key positions at Bosch, including Chief Systems Engineer Power Solutions, Lead Model Based System Engineering, and Manager of Functional Safety, with a focus on regional coordination for ISO 26262 compliance across multiple development departments globally. Prior to Bosch, Karlheinz served as Development Engineer at Hartmann exact GmbH, leading the Start-Stop Sensor System project for Ford, and as Test Engineer at Bertrandt, providing test engineering services for Porsche AG. Earlier in the career, Karlheinz was the Head of Development Lab at Bruker. Educationally, Karlheinz attended Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
