Matthias Birk

Matthias Birk is currently the Director and Chief Technical Lead for Perception for Automated Driving at Bosch. They previously held various roles at Bosch, including Chief Tech Lead and Section Manager, focusing on computer vision and embedded software architecture. Matthias earned a Dr.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Dipl.-Ing. from Universität Karlsruhe (TH). Earlier in their career, they worked as a Researcher PhD Student at the Institute of Data Processing and Electronics, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
