Tomé Silva

Tomé Silva, PhD, is an experienced data scientist with a strong focus on machine learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning for industrial management solutions. Currently employed as a Data Scientist at Bosch since November 2022, Tomé previously contributed as a PhD researcher at the MIT Portugal Program from January 2017 to December 2022. Prior to that, Tomé held positions as a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer at ALTEN and as a Continuous Improvement Engineer and Trainee at SONAES INDÚSTRIA. An early career role involved an internship at Bosch, where Tomé analyzed the economic and functional viability of AGV systems. Academic credentials include a PhD from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a Master's degree from Universidade do Minho.
