Jeffrey Mittman

Jeffrey Mittman is the current President & CEO at BOSMA INDUSTRIES FOR THE BLIND INC. Jeffrey has held this position since July of 2018. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Officer at DFAS from January 2012 to July 2018. In this role, they served as a project manager for Agency Deputy Director and the Chief of Staff, liaised between operations and other divisions, and coordinated staff functions. Jeffrey also led the congressional proposal process for their division, prepared briefings for Agency Director, and approved congressional correspondence. Jeffrey was also responsible for communicating leadership intent and instructions to staff, and was successful in influencing responses to media queries. Some of their notable accomplishments in this role include developing and delivering a speech to more than 3000 attendees at a professional development conference, and leading the legislative proposal process to improve delivery of service to Agency customers.

Before working at DFAS, Jeffrey Mittman was the National Account Manager at National Industries for the Blind from March 2010 to January 2012. Jeffrey was also the President at National Association for the Employment of People who are Blind.

Jeffrey Mittman received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ball State University, with a focus in operations. Jeffrey also received a Master of Arts from Ball State University in executive development for public service. Jeffrey's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science from Troy University in resource management.
