Elisabetta Polito

Elisabetta Polito is an accomplished professional in the fields of fashion technology and costume design, currently serving as the Fashion Technology Program Director and Costume Design Teacher at Boston Arts Academy since October 2014. With a diverse background, Elisabetta has been a Costume Designer for The Lyric Stage Company of Boston since January 2012 and has worked as a self-employed Costume Designer since 2006. Additional experience includes serving as a Costume Designer for SpeakEasy Stage Company from October 2012 to May 2016 and as a Costume History Lecturer at Boston University from September 2015 to April 2016. Elisabetta's educational achievements include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy from Boston University, a Master of Education from Fitchburg State University, a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Brandeis University, and two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from Concordia University in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology and Design Art.
