Tyrone Sutton

Tyrone Sutton is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Head of School at Boston Arts Academy since August 2022, having also held positions as Interim Head of School and Assistant Head of School at the same institution. Prior to this, Tyrone was a Principal Fellow at Boston Latin Academy and served as Dean of Arts at Boston Arts Academy from August 2019 to July 2021. Additionally, Tyrone has a background in vocal music education, teaching at Boston Arts Academy from 2008 to 2019. Tyrone holds a Master of Education in Arts Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from Texas State University, and completed fellowships in Education Leadership at Lynch Leadership Academy at Boston College and in Creative Educational Leadership at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development.
